Q: If we reserve a cabin today, how much will be charged to our card?
A: Upon reservation, the first nights rate plus taxes and fees will be run as a deposit. Reservations of 5 or more nights require a 2 nights rate deposit plus taxes and fees. The amount will be credited to your total balance which will be run 7-10 days before your arrival. You will receive an initial confirmation email when your reservation is made, then 7 -10 days prior to your arrival you will receive a second confirmation email with driving directions/key code for your cabin.
Q: If I want to pay cash for my reservation is that an option?
A: We require a credit card for the deposit upon reservation, however if you would like to pay the remaining balance in cash upon arrival just let us know and we can make arrangements.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: You can view our complete cancellation policy on our policies page. We also offer Travel Guard vacation insurance that will cover your reservation in the case of cancellation or early departure. Q: Are the cabins pet friendly?
A: The following cabins are currently pet friendly: Southern Comfort, Creek Ridge, 7th Heaven, Waterfall, and Cascade. Also under certain conditions, Bucky’s Blind is pet friendly. Briarpatch is pet friendly with payment of an additional $50 pet fee. Please review our pet policies on the Policies Page, and call our office with any questions.
Q: What time is check in/check out.
A: Check in is at 3:00 p.m. or later and check out is at 11:00 a.m. Both are strictly enforced to give our cleaning staff adequate time to get the cabin ready for the next guests. Since we don’t allow Sunday check ins, we allow guests to check out late on Sunday (2:00 p.m.), unless otherwise notified.
Q: Do you allow Sunday check-ins?
A: We do not allow Sunday check-ins. We reserve Sunday’s for late check-outs and owner stays.
Q: What if the number of guests in our party is more than what the cabin sleeps? Can we use air mattresses?
A: Due to Fire Marshall Regulations, the number of guests per cabin is strictly enforced. If you have more people in your party, we recommend reserving 2 cabins close together.

Q: What is the driving distance?
A: From Dallas we are 197 miles away usually a 3-3 ½ hour trip
From Oklahoma City we are 255 miles away usually a 3 ½ -4 hour trip
From Tulsa we are 218 miles away, usually a 3 ½ hour trip
From Shreveport we are 155 miles away, usually a 3 hour trip
Q: What is the physical address to our cabin?
A: None of the cabins have physical addresses that can be used in a GPS. You can use 1350 N. Park Drive, Broken Bow, OK 74728 to get to Broken Bow; you will then need to follow the detailed driving directions included in your second conformation e-mail. Our new 911 address system should be fully functional within a year or so. Please consult a current map for routes to the Hochatown area from your location.
Q: Where do I check in and get the key to the cabin?
A: Included in your second confirmation e-mail there will be detailed driving directions to your cabin and a key code that you can use to unlock the key lock box at the cabin to retrieve your key.
Q: What will I need to bring?
A: All of our cabins are fully furnished with towels, linens, soaps and wash cloths. They also include fully equipped kitchens with all of the basic cookware; you will need to bring your own cooking accessories for any specialized cooking you will be doing. If your cabin has a charcoal grill you will need to bring your own charcoal. Lastly if you plan having an outdoor fire, you will need to bring some firewood, it can be purchased locally as well.
Q: Can I buy groceries locally?
A: Yes, there is a large grocery store in Broken Bow (Pruett’s) which is only 10-15 minutes from the cabins. The local convenience stores also have a few groceries and condiments
Q: Are there places to eat close by?
A: Yes, there are several restaurants in the immediate area, including Grateful Head Pizza, Abendigo’s, The Blue Rooster, Hochatown BBQ and Stevens Gap Restaurant. There are also more restaurants in Broken Bow including Pizza Hut, Papa Poblanos, and the Oaks Steak House.
Q: What is there to do in the area?
A: To list a few, fishing, boating, kayaking, horseback riding, golf, putt-putt, go-carts, dinning and hiking. View the link for area attractions on the main page of our website. Q: Is ATV riding allowed around the cabins?
A: ATV riding is strictly prohibited in the cabins areas. However, just a few miles north on Hwy 259 there is a large parking area were you can trailer you ATV’s to and park, there are miles and miles of ATV trails from there.
Q: Are fireworks permitted in the cabin areas?
A: Fireworks are not permitted in the cabin areas.
Q: How far are the cabins from the Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park?
A: All of our cabins are located within a five to ten minute drive of both the Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park.
Q: I am looking for a secluded cabin, which cabins are secluded?
A: Please contact us for specific details concerning secluded cabins. All of our cabins are located on 1 or more acres and most are in quiet locations. However, if you are looking for privacy and seclusion, we have a select few cabins that fit that description.
Q: Do you allow smoking in the cabins?
A: We do not allow smoking in our cabins, if it is discovered that this policy is violated, we will charge a $100 fee to your credit card.
Q: Will I need a fishing license?
A: All out of state guests will need an out-of-state fishing license. Fishing licenses can be purchased at any of the area convenience stores or Wal-Mart. You can also purchase your fishing license online at www.wildlifedepartment.com.
Q: Are there any other fees added to the cabin rate?
A: Yes, all reservations include a small, non-refundable charge of $15. This is an extremely cost effective way to cover any accidental damage (up to $500) to items in the cabin during your stay. In addition, a cleaning fee of $65 is charged to guests for each reservation.
